Dr. Akilah A. Bradford “The HR DOC” CEO/Founder

Dr. Akilah A. Bradford has worked in the field of HR for more than 20 years. She has worked for numerous industries including Education, Hospitality, Publishing, Fitness, & City government. In addition, she has been a higher education instructor for more than 15 years.

She regularly facilitates workshops on Resume Writing & Mastering the Interview, as well as corporate training on Inclusion and Understanding, Conflict Resolution & Effective Management Techniques.

Dr. Bradford believes in the power of energy. She understands that energy is critical to having a committed, productive workforce and working in Human Resources allows her to have a positive impact on the pulse of an organization.

Dr. Bradford studied Organizational Leadership at Argosy University and obtained her PhD. Her research focused on organizational commitment and why employees leave their employers. She received her MBA and Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from National-Louis University and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Illinois, Chicago.

She is a resident of the South Side of Chicago and enjoys instructing in-door cycling classes, being a fitness coach for women, traveling, and attending concerts.

Alicia Bennett Client Services Advisor

Alicia Bennett’s career has focused on the customer and ensuring the customer experience always exceeds their expectations. She has nearly 10 years of experience in client engagement and customer growth strategy development.

Working in education, travel, retail, and hospitality has strengthened Alicia’s belief in the power of connections. She understands that having an empathetic approach to engaging people can allow for healthy relationships to flourish within organizations. She has spent many years in the Midwest and now the East Coast providing support to corporate clients including project management, team development, organizational development, and marketing initiatives.

Community is important to Alicia. She developed deep roots into the community by implementing a comprehensive donation program that partnered with local schools and organizations to provide kids with more hands-on educational opportunities. She developed and maintained strong relationships within her community which allowed her leadership in customer relations and community outreach to shine.

Alicia Bennett studied Organizational Communication and Public Relations at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree. Her research studies focused on organizational relationships, internal communication, and community outreach.

Resident of the North side of Chicago, Alicia loves the outdoors playing tennis, volleyball, being on the water, crafting fun new cooking recipes, hosting events, and traveling.
